This 3 credit online course is designed to focus explicitly on inclusive classrooms and provides unique suggestions for meeting the needs of students with disabilities, including those with learning, cognitive, and sensory differences. This course contains hundreds of familiar novel activities that all students can access; and illustrates ways all students can participate in them. Active and collaborative activities we will explore include; building teams and classroom communities, teaching and learning, studying and reviewing, creating active lectures and assessing and celebrating. These skills will be presented by the participants through discussions following each forum topic. The participant will be able to promote relationship building and interdependence, help students teach one another as they make discoveries about course content, support learners in preparing for assessments, engage whole-class learning while assisting students who need personalized instruction, and assess learner understanding
